Authors Pierre Desrochers and Hiroko Shimizu have set up the entire concept of their book The Locavore's Dilemma: In Praise of the 10,000 Mile Diet, as a shooting gallery against the locavore lifestyle. The entire table of contents is set up as Locavore Myth #1, Locavore Myth #2 and on through Locavore Myth #7. - Mary Baker is a full time freelance copywriter and journalist with over 20 years of experience in press and marketing. For most of her life she has either been in, or close to, agriculture and farming. Mary is an avid gardener and horticulturist who believes in organic, low-impact and sustainable methods whenever possible.
